Mother of 3.

This is so true.  I had to post it....if only we could be this relaxed with our first child.  I think we just have more time to think about everything!  (:  God Bless those 3rd child's out there!

BIRTH ORDER OF CHILDREN

1st baby: You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as

your OB/GYN confirms your pregnancy.

The Layette:

and fold them neatly in the baby's little bureau.

2nd baby: You check to make sure that the clothes are clean and

discard only the ones with the darkest stains.

3rd baby: Boys can wear pink, can't they?

Worries:

1st baby: At the first sign of distress--a whimper,

a frown--you pick up the baby

2nd baby: You pick the baby up when her wails threaten

to wake your firstborn.

3rd baby: You teach your three-year-old how to

rewind the mechanical swing.

Pacifier:

1st baby: If the pacifier falls on the floor, you put it away until

you can go home and wash and boil it.

off with some juice from the baby's bottle.

3rd baby: You wipe it off on your shirt and pop it back in.

______________________________________________________

Diapering:

1st baby: You change your baby's diapers every hour,

whether they need it or not.

2nd baby: You change their diaper every two to three hours, if needed.

3rd baby: You try to change their diaper before others start to

complain about the smell or you see it sagging to their knees.

Silas 6 months old!

This is a little late, but I have been having trouble posting since I updated the software on my Mac. Silas is 6 months old and it is hard to believe....time can go by so fast sometimes. He has started to army crawl everywhere. He has been trying to sit up on his own, but still tumbles to the side. He weighed 13 pounds and 14 ounces....which takes him to the zero percentile. He actually lost 5 ounces from 5 to 6 months. He grew a lot and is healthy....I think a lot of factors played into this, including our disney trip and all of us being sick for a week! We are feeding him lots now! He LOVES food...he watches my every bite. He is also a mamma's boy right now. He wants to be held....we knew he couldn't be laid back forever! He is a great baby and sleeps great at night. We are about to move him to his crib finally! He may be moved out of our closet by the time he is 7 months old! (-: He is a huge blessing to our family! I can not wait to see what his personality will be like.......

How can I get cooler?  By attaching my fan to my water bottle?  (0:

Lunch at Magic Kingdom.  We were so hot and hungry, I don't think it mattered what we ate.  We remembered eating here the last couple times!
Day one...we left tomorrowland and headed to adventure land.....loving Magic Kingdom!  It was so fun to watch the kids as they were amazed by everything they saw.  They were in heaven.
Day one....Waiting in line for the ferry to Magic Kindom.
The Grand Floridian we passed on our ferry ride
Entering Magic Kingdom

We headed to tomorrow land first and rode the Buzz Lightyear ride first.  This is where Nolan found the toy he wanted!  We told them they had to keep looking and wait until Friday.  He STILL wanted it on Friday....guess sometimes the first thing you see is IT!
